Barking mad places to eat in London

11.05.17

London has got to be one of the most popular places in England when it comes to owning a dog.

We have welcomed them in our homes, we dress them up, we spend more time with them than we do our friends – and yet why can’t we dine with our fur balls as well?! Good for you dog owners out there, there are already more places emerging in the London area where they are welcome. This blog post is a walk in the park, so have a quick read…

Based in Mare Street, Hackney

The Advisory is cute, quirky and apparently makes some of the best burgers around. If you’re someone that appreciates good grub and the hipster house_and_home, then this place is perfect for you. Better yet, you can bring your fluffy companion along with you! The food ranges from burgers to pancakes, milkshakes to muesli and much more! Around the corner from London Fields park, you can let your pooch burn off the crumbs he hoovered up under the table; how convenient.

Based in New Bond Street, Mayfair

If you and your dog are more about the high life, and fancy some sophisticated fine dining, Mews of Mayfair is your best bet, with chandeliers and a beautiful art gallery to browse. For the evenings, they have a cocktail bar inside, with adventurous mixes such as orange and coriander Gin & Tonic. What a pawfect reason to visit Mayfair!

Based in Kennington Lane, Kennington

A modern twist on great British grub, The Tommyfield is a step-up from your cliché local pub. This is the place to be for Sunday family lunches with their menu that caters for kids as well as having a wine list for the adults. Your pooch won’t be feeling left out here either, as dog treats are always on hand when you walk through the door.

Why shouldn’t our beloved pets be treated? If you try any of these places out, let us know by tagging us in a review via our social media!
