Eggcellent days out in London

10.04.17

Listen out chocoholics! Easter is coming up and we have gathered all of the best events in London for you and/or your family to go get your hands on.

As the Sun slowly makes a sneaky return, and daffodils begin to bloom, why not use Easter as an excuse to get out and discover London?

National Trust Easter Egg Hunts

Britain’s most famous chocolate brand, Cadbury, is teaming up with National Trust to create Easter Egg hunts for the general public to enjoy this Easter 2017. Events are being held at Sutton House, Fenton House, and Red house, where it tends to cost about £3.50 to get involved- so it’s a relatively affordable day out for the family.

Best Chocolate shops in London

What better time to go to chocolate shops and indulge yourself in sweet treats, than Easter? All the time really, although, between you and me, let’s use Easter as an excuse. Some of the best chocolate shops in London are:

Choccywoccydoodah: This quirky chocolate shop is well known for their bazaar chocolate and cakes. Easter is a goldmine for this shop, and they definitely make the most of it. To just wonder past the windows of this shop, allows you to see the spectacular sites of their Easter egg creations. If you are not interested in buying, why not get straight down to business and visit the café that is located in the store- your chocolate desires will be fulfilled and more. The one in London is based in Carnaby Street, although they have another store in the Brighton Lanes.

Melt: Sophistication and chocolate are a match made in heaven. If you agree, Melt is the perfect chocolate shop for you to visit this Easter. Unafraid of being different, this shop loves to pair unorthodox flavours together, such as white chocolate, mint and raspberry. For Easter they have eggs that are a little bit different such as one with milk chocolate and popcorn and one that looks like an avocado. They have two shops based in Notting Hill and the other based in Holland Park.

Rococo chocolates: Land of unconventional chocolate, that has the flavour of Basil and Persian Lime. They have many variations of chocolate treats that you can try such as drinking chocolate, pralines, broken chocolate and bars- everything that your heart desires! Based in the many different locations of: Belgravia, Chelsea, Marylebone, Chester, Convent Garden, Stockists.

Enjoy your Easter!
