Rogue Monkey gig

25.07.16

On Friday two of Coreco’s own took to the stage to perform in their indie rock band ‘Rogue Monkey’. With David Tinsley smashing the drums and Andrew Montlake storming it as the frontman and guitarist, the duo along with Petros Toseland on guitar and Andre Roese on bass rocked the venue ‘The Pipeline’ based near the Coreco offices by Liverpool Street.

This was the last live gig that the venue housed before shutting its doors and as a local haunt for those in the office it was a great way to see out The Pipeline’s last weekend.

The Coreco team were out in force and the evening began with Coreco’s MD Matt Lowndes spinning the decks for a warm up DJ set to get the crowd going. There was no fear of the crowd being subdued though as everyone soon hit the dancefloor when Montlake belted out great covers of the likes of Jamie T, Oasis, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, The Cult and Led Zeppelin. Even Rappers Delight got the Rogue Monkey treatment!

So whilst very sadly The Pipeline won’t be rocking any more we’re glad Rogue Monkey will continue to do so and we’re looking forward to the next gig … to be announced in due course!
