How did you start out at Coreco?
I started working in the financial industry in 2017 and joined Coreco in December 2019 as a Case Manager, with aspirations of becoming a Mortgage Adviser. In 2020 I then trained to become a General Insurance Adviser for Buildings and Contents Insurance, which has helped me gain experience on the sales side of the industry as well. Thanks to Corecos support, I’m well on my way to becoming a Mortgage/Protection Adviser.
What does a day at Coreco look like?
I start my day by going through my emails and diary, I then prioritize anything urgent. Once I have completed my urgent tasks, I do my daily lender/solicitor chases and update all relevant parties. It’s a busy environment but everyone at Coreco is supportive and more importantly, fun!
What do you enjoy about working at Coreco?
The people. My colleagues are amazing and it feels like one big family.
Where do you see yourself this time next year?
I would love to have my CeMAP qualification by this time next year (hopefully sooner!). Once I have my qualification, I want to work towards becoming a Protection adviser. My goal is to be able to advise on both Protection and Mortgages 😊
