Help to buy is ending… for real this time

The clock is ticking for one of the most successful first-time buyer schemes in the market and there are now less than 100 days for first-time buyers to find their new homes.

By the end of October, new help to buy equity loan applications will close.

Buyers will also have to move into their property by the end of March 2023, so there cannot be any delays by developers.

Here is an overview of the timeline:

We are yet to hear of a successor for the Help to Buy equity scheme, so if you are planning to take advantage of the scheme before its demise or have any questions, then get in touch with our experts Matt Thorn or Scott Lambert.

You can find out more about the help to buy equity loan application closure on the government website., visit our help to buy service page or read our help to buy mortgage guide.
